Some of the collective of my artwork. From sketching to comics to creative doodles. I currently do not have an online drawing app. I try to bring a sense of whimsy to my creations while at times working with classic design. The scenes here evoke everything from slice of life to fantasy to the obscure.
My Creative Process
Luis Reyes (thats me) is a dedicated artist and designer with a deep passion yet simple understanding for the art and design of things. The art of storytelling with drawing has always been something that fascinated me. And I have worked on things from my childhood till now. I an no expert by any means at drawing. But I believe my artwork is compelling in a very basic way of course. The concepts here are part drawing part visual sequences. A great part of this is breathing life into my work. Through different techniques I have picked up along the way. Part of the vision is to show that there is to blend real life with imagination. To create something that can both aesthetically please and entertain. The work here showcases my line work in the creative and also in following the structured formats. I do not have any experience in professional work or even independent work with my art. But through feedback and understanding I have understood that my work can help grow and better not only the culture but also the company.
This portfolio highlights some of my work as well. Creating a somewhat orderly catalogue of a part of my process. I work with idea ideation, Full concepts and character designs. Through the process of concept to creating to finished story. And although none of my projects have been a success. The feedback I receive is in top form. And I think one day one of these ideas can inspire others to create as well.
